PACES has been granted the Donation Tax Relief Certificate for non-profit/charitable organizations pursuant to Section 4a Paragraph 2 in conjunction with Paragraph 3 of the Austrian Income Tax Act 1988 (EStG 1988) effective 16 March 2026.

This means donations to PACES from this date are eligible for tax relief according to the relevant Austrian laws.

As the work of PACES for the education of talented but financially underprivileged Filipino youth in the Philippines is fully dependent on donations, this certificate is very useful for sustaining and expanding its charitable work.

Donations to PACES cover the costs of tuition, school fees, a monthly living allowance, and an allowance for textbooks and school supplies in the case of students enroled in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields in Philippine state universities and colleges, and for school fees, school materials and living allowance in the case of students of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in the Philippines. The PACES Educational Programme for the Scholarship of the Filipino youth provide a path towards a better future for scholars and their families.

PACES is thus deeply grateful for all donations in support or its scholarship programme.

PACES is legally represented and advised by Dr ALLICHHAMMER & Co in all matters relevant to taxation in an agreement signed in 31 July 2025 by PACES President, Dr Jane Gerardo-Abaya and the Managing Director Wolfgang Christian Allichhammer, M.Sc.(See picture above, Credit: Nelia Lobrigo)
