A former PACES scholar has achieved an important career milestone. Mr. Kenneth Dave Borja passed the July 2021 Metallurgical Engineering Licensure exam, also called the board exam, given by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in the Philippines. Kenneth Borja was one of a total of 30 Metallurgical Engineering graduates who successfully hurdled the licensure exam.
Mr. Borja graduated in 2020 from the Mindanao State University Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) in Iligan City, Lanao del Norte. He received Dean’s List honors in college and was a consistent honor student from his elementary years. At MSU-IIT, he worked as a Student Peer Facilitator in the school’s Guidance and Counselling Center, at the same time being active as a youth Cluster head in Youth for Christ and President of the organization of student peer facilitators in MSU-IIT. Kenneth is the eldest of three children of Ranilo C. Borja Sr. and Elsa B. Borja.
The PACES family sends its hearty congratulations to the new engineer and heartfelt wishes for a successful career ahead of him. The country needs people like Kenneth Borja.
