PACES marked its first year anniversary at a reception on July 19, 2017 held at the new offices of the Philippine Embassy at the ARES Tower, Donau-City-Strasse 11 in Vienna . The event also marked the launching of PACES’ new fundraising campaign called Pledge #10forSTEMS.
The hashtag #10for STEMS is PACES’ signature campaign to raise funds in support of the scholars selected under its STEMS70 Scholarship Program. PACES has identified 4 scholars in the Philippines. They are engineering students, currently in their 3rd or 4th year of an engineering course in the coming Philippine school year.
A pledge to #10forSTEMS is a pledge to donate 10 euros per month for a period of 1 to 3 years in support of PACES scholars in the Philippines pursuing a college degree in the field of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
