Please join PACES for a special evening of music, dance and shared purpose, featuring distinguished Philippine-Austrian musicians and internationally acclaimed Dance Theatre Manille. The event is entitled A Symphony of Hope and Grace and will be held on 7 November 2026, 4:30 pm, at the House of Strauss in Döblinger Hauptstrasse 76 in Vienna's 19th district.The symphony concert is also being held to celebrate the 10th anniversary of PACES.
For ten years, PACES has been helping through scholarships, talented but underprivileged young Filipinos pursue education in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). PACES scholars are the future engineers, health care professionals, scientists, educators, skilled workers and entrepreneurs who will help build a stronger Philippines. Through education, the cycle of poverty can be broken and the lives of young Filipinos can be improved. You can help support PACES scholarship programme through the following ways:
- Attend the Concert A Symphony of Hope and Grace followed by a reception. .Admission ticket to the concert is €40. The ticket fee helps cover the expenses for staging this special event.
- Make a Donation to support the PACES Scholarship Programme. Each university scholar in the Philippines incurs about €1,500 per year for tuition, academic expenses, books and living allowances. A donation of €35 or more towards the PACES scholarship programme will, thus, go a long way. Please note that this is a Tax-Deductible Donation under relevant Austrian Laws.
- Take part in PACES Fundraising Tombola for €10 each ticket. Prizes include a Premium Economy Class EVA Air round trip ticket from Vienna to Asia, and twenty (20) “Classics of Austria” Concert Tickets for Two at the House of Strauss.
